Team Home Depot Comes Together to Build Homes

Published: Updated:

IMMOKALEE, Fla. – More than 250 volunteers from The Home Depot put their skills to work Wednesday morning, to help Habitat for Humanity of Collier County build homes.

Volunteers did everything from framing homes, to painting, landscaping, even installing siding, in the Faith Landing community. About halfway complete, Faith Landing will be a community with 167 homes when finished, and a portion of those houses will be dedicated to veteran families.

Since 2011, the Home Depot has worked to transform more than 25,000 homes across the United States for veterans and their families and invested more than $138 million in veteran causes, along with the help of Team Depot volunteers.
