FORT MYERS, Fla. – Fort Myers police are investigating a shooting near Budget Motors off of Palm Beach Blvd. and Desoto Avenue. The shooting happened around 8:30 p.m. on Saturday. Witnesses say they heard four gunshots. They said one man was taken to the hospital after being shot once in the face and in the leg. Officers were on scene for about three hours combing through the neighborhood. One vehicle in the Budget Motors parking lot appeared to have a bullet hole in the window. This is a developing story.
