PINE ISALND, Fla. – For the 4th year, anglers will hit the water in hopes of taking home a top prize of $3,000 in the Wounded Warrior Anglers Redfish Shootout. The annual tournament raises money for the Wounded Warrior Anglers and helps them support veterans through various community and therapeutic programs. Anglers must register at the captains dinner on Friday night at the Beef O Brady’s located at Pine Island & Burnt Store Roads. Boaters may enter with a team of three anglers for $350 and $50 for each additional angler after three, kayaks can enter for $50 per Kayak angler. Top prize in the boating division takes home $3,000 the top Kayak angler takes home $500. To view additional places and prizes click here. Anglers start at 7:30 a.m. Saturday morning with a shotgun start at Matlacha Community Park 4577 located at Pine Island Road.
