Be Prepared for Hurricane Season

CAPE CORAL, Fla. – Hurricane season is fast approaching and whether you’re a long time Floridian or new to the sunshine state, it’s time to get prepared.

The Home Depot wants to help by making sure you’re ready for the season by hosting a Hurricane Preparedness Workshop this Sunday, May 15th 1:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. at more than 700 Home Depot locations, including all in Southwest Florida.

It is recommended that you keep a hurricane preparedness kit in your home and ready in-case a storm strikes, click here to view what The Home Depot recommends be in your kit. Experts with The Home Depot also recommend installing impact resistant glass in your home to prevent flying debris from entering your home and protect your house not only during hurricane season but year round.
