CAPE CORAL, Fla.- Detectives are looking for a pair of thieves who stole a bronze statue from a Cape Coral home.

Surveillance footage shows on March 3 around 2 a.m., two men walked up to the front of the victim’s house and stole the statue.

The homeowner primarily resides out of state and only visits the house several times a year, police said.

The sculpture, with an estimated value of $2,000 to $5,000, sat directly in front of one of the home’s windows.

The sculpture is all bronze and depicts two children sitting on a bench, police said.
