3 Floridians jailed in Mississippi fake credit card probe

BILOXI, Miss. (AP) – Three Tampa, Florida, residents suspected of using counterfeit credit cards to get cash advances at Hard Rock Casino in Mississippi have been arrested.

The Sun Herald reports 50-year-old Mercedes Sabrina Fisher, 48-year-old Daniel Ernest Myvett Sr. and 32-year-old Darrick Wilford each face charges of credit card fraud.

Biloxi Police Detective Nick Sonnier said Fisher and Myvett made two transactions Monday before the three were arrested.

Justice Court Judge Albert Fountain set bonds at $50,000 each for Fisher and Myvett, who each face two fraud counts.

Fountain set Wilford’s bond at $25,000.

The three are held at the Harrison County jail.

Online jail records do not list attorneys for the Floridians.
