CAPE CORAL, Fla.- A burglar broke into a church on NE Pine Island Road and stole a guitar, the Cape Coral Police Department said Friday.

Police discovered the church’s front door was unlocked and three windows had been broken. Authorities believe the suspect entered the church through one of the windows.

The pastor of the church also reported a guitar, described as an orange, Epiphone Les Paul electric guitar, had been taken.

The church estimates the value of the guitar to be around $300, police said, and it will take around $400 to get the windows replaced.

Detectives do not have any suspect description at this time.
