MGN ESTERO, Fla. – One man is dead after a fatal accident blocked the right northbound lane on Interstate-75 before Corkscrew Road in Estero, according to Florida Highway Patrol. The 69-year-old driver was traveling northbound when his vehicle veered off the road, FHP records show. His motorcycle flipped and he was ejected, according to FHP. Authorities said he died at the scene of his accident. The driver is from Punta Gorda, but authorities have not released his name. They do not suspect that the crash was alcohol-related. No further information was available.
