PUNTA GORDA, Fla. – For the the 10th annual year, the Defenders Law Enforcement Motorcycle Club has teamed up to once again host the Darla Lathrem Fallen Heroes Poker Run & BBQ. Festivities kick off Saturday morning, March 26th at 10 a.m. for registration and kick stands up at 10:30 a.m. tickets are $15 for one rider, $25 for two or $8 to enjoy the music and food for those not participating in the ride. Live music along with a 50/50 raffle, door prizes and a raffle of two guns, an S&W BG380 Auto and a Delton 5.56 Custom will also be a part of the event. Tickets can be purchased at the door Saturday morning, all proceeds go to the Fallen Heroes Fund supporting families of fallen first responders and military. The American Legion Post 103 is located at 2101 Taylor Road, Punta Gorda.
