Tennis Pros back in Naples

NAPLES, Fla. – Tennis professionals from around the world have arrived in Naples at the Academia Sánchez-Casal Florida, for the ASC Florida Women’s Open.

More than 30 singles and 16 double teams have arrived from all over the world representing 20 different countries in professional women’s tennis. Qualifying play began March 21st. as the field is narrowed, matches will be played all the way to Sunday, March 27th.

Emilio Sánchez-Casal, Founder and CEO of the Academia Sánchez-Casal Florida, says it’s been more than a decade since professional tennis has been in Naples and they are thrilled to once again have these athletes back.
“The USTA is now giving us this opportunity to bring these big tournaments here, so we hope that Naples reacts, responds and comes in to see these great players,” said Sánchez-Casal. Members of the public can do just that and watch the ASC Florida Women’s Open for free throughout the tournament.

Play starts daily at 11:00 a.m. with the first serve of the final championship round going out at 1:30 p.m. on Sunday. The Academia Sánchez-Casal Florida is located at 4995 Airport Pulling Rd. North in Naples.
