MGN FORT MYERS, Fla. – Two brothers were shot and sent to the hospital before Fort Myers police blocked off Veronica Shoemaker Boulevard near Hanson Street on Sunday, a family friend said. Police were seen searching the area with flashlights but did not provide comment. The two men were being treated for gunshots at Lee Memorial Hospital on Sunday morning and were in stable condition, a friend said. Police were also stationed at the hospital and were seen entering the building. No further information is available.
