NAPLES, Fla. – An older man approached two children and told them to get into his car near Lakewood Boulevard and Tamiami Trail East on Saturday morning, deputies said. The children appeared to be a 9-year-old boy and a 6-year-old girl playing in the sand around 7:30 a.m., Collier County deputies said. An older man in a blue Ford Focus drove up to them, took photos and told them to get into his car, according to deputies. The kids did not get into the car, deputies said. Deputies are now looking for the driver: an older white male with white hair who is about 5 feet 10 inches tall. His car has a partial license plate of E64.
