Vulgar fliers found in Port Charlotte neighborhood

PORT CHARLOTTE, Fla. – A Port Charlotte neighborhood woke up Saturday morning to a disturbing discovery–a flier with a very hateful and racially charged mission. The group distributing them says they target predominately white neighborhoods.

At least three homes on Chimes Avenue found the letter rolled up in a rubber band, thrown on their lawns.

“I picked it up, thought it was just a piece of trash or junk mail or whatever,” said one neighbor, who wanted to remain anonymous in fear of retaliation.

The flier says “white man fight” in big, bold lettering, detailing the “Werwolf 88” group’s hatred towards several different racial groups, including Muslims coming to America from Syria. Part of the flier said, “many of them are terrorists who belong to ISIS. Will you quietly tolerate this outrage too like a spineless yellow belly?”

“To me it seems like they’re trying to maybe recruit people for their little club,” one person said.

According to Werwolf Headquarters, that’s exactly their plan.

In an email, they exclusively told WINK News they target nothing but white neighborhoods where potential recruits for their cause may reside.

Tthe distribution of the leaflets is part of their routine and neighborhoods in other states may have also beeen targeted, Werwolf Headquarters said.

“Initially I did think that it was something that was left on our driveway, which really, really, really made me nervous,” a neighbor said.

The group also said they are 100 percent political, saying they are “preparing for the future, for genuine racial warfare as all white people should be doing […] This government is determined to transform America into a Third World sewer.”

One neighbor said he informed the Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office about the letter. Deputies told him they would be patrolling the neighborhood more on a precaution.
