Two vehicle crash leaves one in critical condition

NAPLES, Fla.- Two people were injured in a crash late Wednesday night near the intersection of Livingston Road and Golden Gate Parkway.

According to the crash report, Andre Nieves, 31, of Fort Myers was driving east on Golden Gate Parkway when he hit a Honda Accord traveling north on Livingston Road.

State troopers say both Nieves and the other driver were airlifted to Lee Memorial Hospital for treatment. Nieves is listed in serious condition, the other driver that has not been identified is in critical condition.

The road reopened after being closed six hours as detectives processed the scene.
