TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (AP) – When “The Ultimate Fighter” returns to Florida, no one will be able to find out the results before episodes air.

The Legislature passed a bill on Thursday providing a public records exemption to Ultimate Fighting Championship where the results of matches that would air later would not be available through the Florida Boxing Commission.

“The Ultimate Fighter” taped its 21st season in South Florida last year. According to Sen. Travis Hutson, UFC discovered the “glitch” after looking at other exemptions they were granted two years ago.

The bill, which needed a two-thirds majority to pass, now heads to Gov. Rick Scott for him to sign. The bill passed with a 35-5 vote.
