PUNTA GORDA, Fla.- A man will spend eight years behind bars after a horde of graphic child pornography was found at his Punta Gorda home. Kurtis Johnson, 26, pleaded guilty on Nov. 5 and was sentenced to federal prison on Tuesday for distributing child pornography. In October 2014, FBI agents downloaded child pornography images from Johnson’s computer using a file sharing program. During a subsequent search warrant of Johnson’s home, authorities found more than 3,500 images and over 800 videos of child pornography. Authorities say Johnson later admitted to downloading and possessing child pornography on his computer.
