Saeed Kazemi named Fort Myers city manager

FORT MYERS, Fla. – Saeed Kazemi can now remove ‘interim’ from his title as city manager.

Kazemi, who has held the position since Oct. 2015, now has it full-time.

Kazemi, a longtime Lee County resident, previously served as a county division manager, a city engineer and public works director for the city.

Kazemi, who took over for Billy Mitchell after he retired, is responsible for the city’s 900 employees, including all city departments, and is responsible for the city budget.
