Nonstop flights from RSW to the Bahamas beginning in May

FORT MYERS, Fla.- Silver Airways will begin nonstop service from Southwest Florida International Airport to Nassau, Bahamas on May 26, Lee County Port Authority announced on Friday.

Flights will operate three days a week on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays.

“I am extremely pleased that Silver Airways is inaugurating nonstop service to Nassau, Bahamas in May 2016 from Southwest Florida International Airport,” said Robert M. Ball, executive director of the Lee County Port Authority. “One of our key air service development initiatives has been to attract service to the Bahamas and these new flights will directly link our region to this popular travel destination for the very first time.”
