Police identify body found in woods near I-75 in North Port

NORTH PORT, Fla.- The body of a man found on Thursday in the woods near I-75 at exit 182 has been identified.

North Port police say Vladimir Walter Chelnokov, 55, had been camping on property he owned nearby before his death.

The medical examiner found no signs of trauma during an autopsy. Chelnokov’s death is suspicious, police said.
