LEHIGH ACRES, Fla.- More than $50,000 worth of stolen construction tools were found during a drug bust at a home on 9th Street SW in Lehigh Acres.

On Dec. 10, the Lee County Sheriff’s Office served a search warrant at the home after several months of investigation. Inside, authorities found several thousand dollars in narcotics, illegal weapons and cash. Tacuma Horrobin, 34, and Wade Anderson, 50, were arrested that afternoon.

Detectives also found a massive stash of stolen construction tools, from cement mixers to generators, chains saws and dirt compactors. While authorities were able to trace some of the stolen items back to their rightful owners, more than 100 items remain unclaimed.

“We’re asking anyone in the construction industry in Lee County to go through their inventory and if they are missing any major pieces of equipment,” said Trish Routte, Southwest Florida Crime Stoppers coordinator.
