MGN CORAL GABLES, Fla. (AP) – Mark Richt’s first game as Miami’s coach will be Sept. 3, when the Hurricanes play host to Florida A&M. Miami opens with three non-conference games in 2016, a home matchup against Florida Atlantic on Sept. 10 followed by a road trip to Appalachian State on Sept. 17. After that, Miami gets into Atlantic Coast Conference play. Miami goes to Georgia Tech on Oct. 1, hosts Florida State on Oct. 8 and hosts North Carolina on Oct. 15. That’s followed by road games at Virginia Tech on Oct. 20 and a non-conference game at Notre Dame on Oct. 29. Pitt visits Miami on Nov. 5, with the Hurricanes then heading to Virginia on Nov. 12 and North Carolina State on Nov. 19. Miami’s regular-season finale is Nov. 26, home against Duke.
