Man, woman steals $500 police scanner from Fort Myers Radio Shack

FORT MYERS, Fla. – Authorities are looking for a man and a woman who allegedly worked together to steal a $500 police scanner from a Fort Myers Radio Shack.

A man entered the Radio Shack located at 4901 Palm Beach Blvd. around 7 p.m. on Dec. 27 and spent a few minutes looking at the police scanners before leaving, investigators said. He returned a few minutes later with a woman who began distracting an employee while he picked out the scanner, placed it underneath his shirt, and walked out.

Authorities believe both suspects are between 20 and 30-years-old.
