IMMOKALEE, Fla. Two people are in Collier County jail after high speed chase.

According to deputies, 29-year-old Erica Marie Kohler was driving as fast as 115 miles per hour when she crashed on the on-ramp to I-75.

31-year-old Brione Joiner was a passenger in the car.

Deputies believe Joiner is the suspect of a November shooting involving a K9 police officer.

Only Wink News was there as Kohler was placed on a stretcher and Joiner was transported by LeeFlight to Lee Memorial Hospital as a trauma alert.

Both have been released from the hospital and are now booked in jail.

Joiner is currently on probation in Lee County.

Upon searching the vehicle, deputies said they found enough heroin, cocaine, and marijuana for a trafficking charge.

Both are expected in court Monday for first appearances.
