EAST NAPLES, Fla.- A car broke down along U.S. 41 in Naples but before two people could push it out of the roadway another car struck them killing one person. State troopers identified Christian Gomez, 20, as the victim that was killed. Authorities said the teenage driver who hit two people pushing a car in the roadway along U.S. 41 near Treviso Bay Boulevard went to the hospital. The driver of the disabled car was hospitalized and the second person pushing the car was killed. The roadway along U.S. 41 from St. Andrews to Treviso Bay Boulevard has opened up after being shut down from the crash. Troopers are asking for witnesses of the crash to please come forward.
