Published: Updated:

FORT MYERS, Fla. – Drew Steele, host of “Daybreak” on 92.5 Fox News Radio, is well on his way to reaching the new goal of 20,000 Christmas cards for the troops but he still needs your help.

Originally Steele set a goal of collecting 10,000 Christmas cards for the troops, however they surpassed that goal before the campaign ended. That’s when Steele set his sights even higher and put the challenge out to his listeners to collect 20,000 Christmas cards.

As of early Monday morning 13,800 cards had already been mailed to troops serving overseas. The Military Support Program at Lee Memorial Hospital has been sorting through the thousands of cards arriving daily and mailing them out.

To send a Christmas card and help Steele reach his 20,000 goal, mail as many Christmas cards as you like to:

P.O. Box 877
Fort Myers, FL 33902

Or drop them off at the Broadcast Center, located at 2824 Palm Beach Blvd. in downtown Fort Myers.

The card should include a warm message and they do not need an envelope, please do not include any glitter. All Christmas Cards must be in by Friday, Dec. 11. Steele can be heard weekdays on 92.5 Fox News radio from 5 a.m.- 9 a.m.
