FORT MYERS, Fla.- A Lee County woman was kidnapped, threatened, choked and left in a parking lot, according to a Lee County Sheriff’s Office report.

Authorities say Terrance Graham, known to his friends by the name ‘Trouble,’ met his girlfriend in an online dating site and had been dating her for two months.

Only WINK News was at the scene Tuesday in San Carlos Park on Garry Road, as deputies searched for Graham.

According to the report, the victim woke up to find Graham on top of her. She says Graham told her he would shoot and kill her if she woke her family up. They were asleep in the next room. The report says Graham forced the victim to leave with him.

At one point as they drove south to Immokalee, the victim tried to get away. She jumped out of the car and Graham chased after her. When he reached her he “began choking her to the point where she nearly lost consciousness.” That’s when investigators say he dragged her back into the car.

After hours in Immokalee, the victim was able to convince Graham to take her back to her family’s home. She said they would wake up and call 911 when they realized she was gone. The victim tells investigators Graham agreed on the promise that she would not tell anyone what happened.

When the victim arrived home, traumatized by what just happened, her clothes torn and bloody–her mother immediately called 911.

After deputies arrived at the home, the woman says she received text messages from Graham asking why officers were there. Law enforcement quickly realized they were being watched by Graham. After a search with K9s and a helicopter, they were able to track him down and arrest him.
