Gov. DeSantis to hold news conference in Redington ShoresNew federal rule would bar ‘noncompete’ agreements for most employees
NORTH FORT MYERS, Fla.- A local veteran has a brand new air conditioner, and it didn’t cost him a dime. Triton Air and Heat said they serviced Richard Ragnitt’s old air conditioner, after it broke nearly a month and a half ago. When they realized it was too old to repair, the company decided to install a brand new air conditioner for free. “When you open the attic or live in a mobile home, the heat is a factor. When my guy came out and told me that AC didn’t work, it really hit home,” said Triton Air and Heat owner Antonio Miralles. Ragnitt is disabled, and his caregiver said the man had been using a window unit to stay cool. “His first reaction was ‘no!’ and I said ‘oh yes, it’s going to happen tomorrow,’ and he says ‘oh, that’s great,'” said Ragnitt’s caregiver, Garritt Pankratz. Triton says the estimated cost of the air conditioner would have been over $2,000.
