Johnson woke up early on WINK News This Morning to share some easy and simple recipes on a few Thanksgiving classics, to help ease some stress in the kitchen. Savory Sweet Potato Casserole Boil sweet potato’s after you’ve cut them into cubes Once boiled, lightly mashed them and place in casserole dish Add brown sugar and pecans Bake for 20-25 minutes at 350 degrees Finish with topping marshmallows and bake an additional 5 minutes Bubba’s Green Bean Casserole Boil green beans until soft and season with salt, pepper and garlic Place in casserole dish Add diced onion and sliced mushrooms Pour thickened cream of mushroom soup over green beans Top with crispy onions Bake for 20-25 minutes at 350 degrees Thanksgiving “Apple Spiced Dolphin” Cocktail Pour in a shaker: Wickend Dolphin spiced rum Add Wicked Dolphin Apple Pie Rumshine Add cranberry juice, shake and poor over ice or in martini glass Bubba’s is closed on Thanksgiving day but is open before and after the holiday, if you’re tired of cooking and need a place to take the family or just escape the kitchen.
