Dunkin Donuts robbed at gunpoint in East Naples

NAPLES, Fla. – Deputies are looking for a man who robbed a Dunkin Donuts at 3404 Tamiami Trail East.

Collier County deputies responded to the shop around 6:40 p.m. Sunday, after a man walked in demanding cash, pointed a gun at the cashier then left with money.

“He held the gun just below the register to where she could see it, but it wasn’t like direct at gunpoint like into the face,” said an employee who wasn’t working at the time of the robbery.

The suspect is described as a man with grey curly hair and mustache. He was wearing grey pants and a grey t-shirt at the time of the robbery.

“All he took was the money out of the front drawer; not the drive thru, not in the back, just front drawer and a little bit of the tip money.”

Those who work at Dunkin Donuts say they’re confident the surveillance images will help catch him.

Deputies say if you see the suspect, do not approach him. He is considered armed and dangerous.
