CAPE CORAL, Fla.- The Cape Coral Police Department (CCPD) is partnering with the 3H Exchange to help hundreds of homeless students in Lee County.

From Nov. 27- Dec. 11, CCPD, the Chester Street Resource Center, and all Cape Coral fire stations will have donation bins where you can drop off donations for the 3H Exchange: High Schools Helping the Homeless program. They’re asking for canned food, non-perishable foods and unwrapped children’s toys.

“What we do is we take and we turn it over to the Lee County School District, we give it to their social workers and their guidance counselors, who give it back to the students. We never meet the students, we never hear the students’ names, we keep everything 100 percent confidential for them,” said Eric Decker, 3H Exchange founder.
