MGN HOLLYWOOD, Fla. (AP) – Police say a man sold 31 guns and “wholesale quantities” of drugs to undercover operatives while receiving disability payments. The South Florida Sun Sentinel (http://bit.ly/1PBCzZx ) reports a federal judge ruled Wednesday that 51-year-old Andres Zamora will remain locked up, calling him a danger to the community and a flight risk. Police say he was arrested Nov. 6 after an 18-month investigation. Prosecutors say Zamora was receiving Social Security disability payments while he sold the drugs and guns in his Hollywood, Florida driveway. Authorities say Zamora said a group of kids broke into homes and businesses to steal the firearms he later sold. Zamora is facing federal charges he dealt drugs, illegally sold firearms, was a felon in possession of a weapon and committed Social Security benefits fraud. It’s unclear whether he has an attorney.
