LEE COUNTY, Fla.- A local man has been arrested for driving under the influence after he drove his car into a ditch of a McDonald’s parking lot, Tuesday night. People inside the Lee County fastfood chain on the 1400 block of State Road 80 say the situation quickly escalated when the man, got out of truck and threatened to harm an employee who went outside to help him. Witnesses say he then went inside the restaurant, shoved a young kid and began “screaming and yelling.” People inside called the McDonald’s at the time called 911. Deputies say they found the man intoxicated before and arrested him before transporting him to the Lee County Jail. Authorities have not released the name of the man they arrested just yet, but you can Trust WINK News to bring you his name and any new details as more information becomes available.
