Lee County man busted for selling heroin, cocaine

FORT MYERS, Fla.- A career criminal is back in the Lee County Jail after a five-month-long investigation by the Lee County Sheriff’s Office.

Fred Nance, 33, was arrested on Tuesday after authorities completed several narcotics transactions with him over the course of the investigation.

Detectives say they purchased 28.8 grams of heroin, approximately 3.1 grams of crack cocaine and 14.2 grams of powder cocaine, with a combined street value of $6,500.

Nance is currently on probation and has been arrested previously on a variety of charges including child neglect and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, as well as numerous battery and narcotics-related charges.

He is now facing charges for trafficking, possessing and selling heroin, selling cocaine, and resisting authorities without violence.
