Surveillance photos released in deadly Punta Gorda 7-Eleven fire

PUNTA GORDA, Fla – Punta Gorda police have released surveillance pictures of the suspect in a deadly 7-Eleven fire on Nov. 1.

The body of Kyle Farishian, 18, was found inside the store near Bal Harbor Boulevard and Aqui Esta Drive after authorities first responded to the fire around 3:30 a.m.

Authorities also confirm a home on the 2100 block of Deborah Drive was searched in connection with the homicide investigation.

“We are unable to provide further details of the investigation at this time, but we assure the community as well as Kyle’s family that we are working around the clock to bring the person responsible for his death to justice”, said Punta Gorda Police Chief Tom Lewis.
