FORT MYERS, Fla.- A 33-year-old man has been charged in connection with a Wells Fargo bank robbery on Wednesday. The Fort Myers Police Department identified Brandon Stepherson of Hollywood as a person of interest in the robbery less than 30 minutes after the bank was robbed. Stepherson entered the bank on the 9200 block of Six Mile Cypress Parkway just before 6 p.m., implying he had a weapon and demanding money before running from the scene, police said. The Lee County Sheriff’s Office says Stepherson then invaded a home on the 9200 block of Old Hickory Boulevard and threatened the people inside, trying to get the keys to their car. Stepherson was taken into custody outside the home. He is now in the Lee County Jail being held on $350,000 bond.
