NORTH PORT, Fla.–Never before released details in the mysterious case of 9-week old Chance Walsh, who’s been missing for a month, are coming to light. WINK News has learned new information about the moments right before his parents were arrested just days ago for child neglect. In early October, police in Hardeeville, South Carolina say the parents were in a car crash. Joseph Walsh claimed Chance died in the wreck, but according to a brand new report from Hardeeville Police, there was no child inside the car. The police chief says it was a minor crash and the vehicle hit a guardrail. The police chief also says he was contacted by the FBI even before hearing about this incident, saying the FBI was asking for information on any recent fatal accidents involving a child in the area. The Hardeeville Police chief says Bury and Walsh were then arrested shortly after in the nearby town of Ridgeland. Baby Chance’s family has planned a candlelight vigil for chance this Saturday at Peace Christ Church in North Port at 7:30pm. The family says they are still searching for baby Chance.
