NORTH PORT, Fla.- A heartbroken family is desperate and determined to find their precious baby grandson.

WINK News spoke to the grandmother and step-grandmother of 9-week-old Chance Walsh who mysteriously vanished a month ago.

His parents, Kristen Bury and Joseph Walsh are now behind bars in the Jasper County Jail in South Carolina facing child neglect charges.

“We are keeping the faith, we are keeping the faith we are going to find him alive,” said Chance’s grandmother Sally Susino.

That faith and hope are keeping this family going.

“He is a beautiful, bright baby. And we love him, we love him,” said Susino.

The family’s 9-week-old grandson has been missing now for about a month.

“The only thing we care about right now is finding our grandson, Chance Walsh. We will not stop until we find him,” said Susino.

It has been an exhaustive search that involves numerous agencies including the FBI.

Chance’s parents are still in a South Carolina facing child neglect charges. The Sarasota County Sheriff’s Office is being very tight lipped on details, but they tell WINK News investigators have searched inside the home and areas around the home multiple times.

The sheriff’s office is pursuing every possible lead even on the weekend.

“Day and night, we are working closely with all of the authorities and it is a tireless search,” said Susino.
