CAPE CORAL, Fla.- A suspected drug trafficker is off the streets of Cape Coral. Police say an anonymous tip lead to the arrest of 50-year-old Patrick Prosperi. K-9 deputies alerted to the presence of drugs inside Prosperi’s car when he was stopped by an officer for a traffic offense on Wednesday. Authorities found 5.2 grams of methamphetamine inside the car. Officials then obtained a warrant to search Prosperi’s home and found over 23 grams of methamphetamine inside. “This is a great example of the community and police working in conjunction to keep our city safe,” said Detective Nicholas Malone.
