LEHIGH ACRES, Fla.- The Lee County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a violent home invasion on Centennial Boulevard in Lehigh Acres.

Franchesca Borjes, the victim’s daughter, says just before 10 a.m. Wednesday, multiple men broke in and began ransacking the home, claiming they were searching for drugs and money.

Borjes says her mother, who was home alone at the time, was held at gunpoint and may have also been sexually assaulted by the suspects. The victim was taken to Lehigh Regional Medical Center to be evaluated.

“I want her out of here,” said Borjes, “She’s getting out of here, she’s not going to stay here.”

The men also stole the family’s dark grey 2015 Kia Optima. Borjes says the car has green tinted windows and boxing gloves hanging from the rear view mirror.

Deputies have not released a description of the suspects. If you have any information, call the Lee County Sheriff’s Office at 239- 477- 1000.
