FORT MYERS, Fla.- A couple is accused of stealing from a man recovering in a VA hospital.

Hannah Waterman, 34, and her boyfriend Matthew Christiansen, 36, are facing multiple felony charges including grand theft, grand theft auto and dealing in stolen property.

Authorities say last Saturday, Waterman borrowed a 2001 light green Jaguar, belonging to her friend’s mother and never returned the car. Multiple flat screen televisions were also stolen from the victim’s home.

Some of the items stolen were pawned earlier this week by Christiansen, said authorities.

Both Waterman and Christiansen have criminal histories of drug use and theft. Christiansen is a registered convicted felon, with 17 previous arrests under his belt, and Waterman has five local bookings to her name.

If you have any information on the whereabouts of the couple, call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-780-TIPS (8477). All callers will remain anonymous and will be eligible for a cash reward of up to $1,000.
