FORT MYERS, Fla. – There are a number of people living with mental illness across the country. Here in Southwest Florida, HOPE Clubhouse is working to help those people and their families as they deal with the difficulties that come along with these illnesses. This October, there’s a special symposium to discuss mental health care in Florida. Jeanne Sweeney and James Wineinger joined us live in studio to tell us more about “Closer to Hope.” Tickets are now on sale for HOPE Clubhouse’s “Closer to Hope” symposium from 11 a.m.- 2 p.m. on Monday, October 5 at Broadway Palm Dinner Theatre, featuring mental health advocate Jessie Close as keynote speaker. Tickets are $40 including a buffet lunch, and can be ordered at HOPE Clubhouse.
