Man dies in Kings Highway motorcycle accident

CHARLOTTE COUNTY, Fla.- Kings Highway has been reopened following a fatal accident involving a motorcyclist. Florida Highway Patrol officials say 23-year-old Andrew Smith was killed when he was struck by a truck just north of Sandhill Boulevard. Smith was transported to Bayfront Hospital in Port Charlotte where he was pronounced dead.
