College student uses Barbie jeep as car after DWI

SAN MARCOS, TX. – A Texas State student has become an internet sensation because of her car.

Tara Monroe was arrested for driving under the influence, so her dad took her car away according to CNN.

“I went and put my bike rack on my Jeep and proceeded to drive to San Marcos and told her, ‘The Jeep’s mine. Here’s your bike. This is your new form of transportation,'” her father Monte Monroe said.

However, Monroe wanted nothing to do with the bike, so she went on Craigslist and bought a used Barbie Jeep that is built for children. Monroe has been using the toy Jeep to drive around.

“She’s a diva. She doesn’t walk. She doesn’t sweat. She’s not going to ride a bike. She’s got to get somewhere, she’s going to figure out how she’s going to get there. She’s stubborn,” said her sister Taylor.
