PUNTA GORDA, Fla. – The Rockin’ and Reelin’ fishing tournament is back in Charlotte Harbor and this year bigger and better than ever. The tournament will raise money for several Charlotte County organizations including, Big Brothers Big Sisters Sun Coast, Charlotte Desoto Building Industry Association, JROTC Port Charlotte and the Future Builders of America. Teams will compete in two divisions fishing for a variety of fish, in both the inshore and offshore categories. For a full list of rules and regulations, click here. Teams can register by showing up to the captains meeting by 4:30 p.m. at the Four Points Sheraton in Punta Gorda. Teams of two in the inshore division can register for $350, teams of four in the offshore division can register for $550. Teams leave following the Friday captains meeting and return for weigh-in Saturday afternoon. The Four Points Sheraton is located at 33 Tamiami Trail, in Punta Gorda.
