Tap into a beer dinner featuring local craft beer

FORT MYERS, Fla. – Most have heard of a wine dinner but beer dinners are starting to pop up more and more, including here in Southwest Florida. The concept is basically the same, just minus the wine and insert beer.

The Crowne Plaza Hotel and Shoeless Joe’s in Fort Myers have been doing beer dinners for a few years. Wednesday night, beer drinkers from all around have their chance to once again join in the fun. Fat Point Brewing out of Punta Gorda, Florida, will be highlighted at Wednesdays dinner. Including a talk from the brew-master and four courses each paired with a different Fat Point craft beer.

An hour prior to the dinner you’ll enjoy Fat Point beer and appetizers, followed by a four course meal featuring: Sesame crusted Yellowfin tuna, goat cheese salad, grilled 24oz. porterhouse steak and vanilla creme brulee for dessert.
