3 new restaurants coming this fall to Coconut Point Cape Coral City Council salary, stipend won’t appear on November ballot
FORT MYERS BEACH, Fla. – For the 3rd year in a row veterans from all over the country have arrived on Fort Myers Beach to fish in the Grouper Grapple and more importantly, get some much deserved relaxation and therapy on the water. The annual tournament raises money for Freedom Alliance, an organization dedicated to serving the men and women of our armed services and their families through numerous programs and activities. Captains must register and attend a captains meeting 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. teams of five are $600 and $100 for every additional angler. Lines in at 6:30 a.m. Saturday morning and boats must be in sight of the weigh master by 6:00 p.m. to avoid disqualification. Weigh in will be from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. followed by raffle and awards. Prizes are awarded to the top five finishers with the largest three grouper.
