DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. (AP) – The president of Keiser University’s Daytona Beach campus has been suspended after authorities say he was carjacked while attempting to pick up two women for a sexual encounter.

The Daytona Beach News-Journal (http://bit.ly/1ElmxZZ ) reports that 60-year-old Matt McEnany told police he stepped out of his car to speak with two women Sunday night when he was attacked from behind by a man. He was then shoved to the ground, and the man and women drove away in his car.

Police chief Mike Chitwood said that though McEnany told a 911 operator he was picking up two friends who needed a ride, he intended to have a “sexual rendezvous” with them.

McEnany’s car was found in a parking lot early Monday. A Keiser spokeswoman said he’s been suspended pending an investigation.
