LUANDA, ANGOLA- A BP team found a siphonophore off the coast of Angola.

The oil company sent the video to the National Oceanography Center who identified the creature but has a nickname of “Flying spaghetti monster.”

The siphonophore is in a class of animals that include corals and jellyfish.

Oceanography experts say siphonophores can grow up to 131 feet long, making them one of the longest animals in the world.
