PUNTA GORDA POLICE PUNTA GORDA, Fla. – Police are looking for a woman who reportedly robbed a Subway on Saturday around 7:30 p.m. Officers said a woman walked into the sandwich shop in the 3900 block of Tamiami Trail. The suspect then went to the register pretending like she was going to pay for something. When the clerk opened the register drawer, police said the suspect demanded cash from the drawer. She then took off running. Officers said the woman is roughly 30 to 40 years old and was wearing a hat and dark colored hoodie at the time of the robbery.
