WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. (AP) – An inmate who escaped from the West Palm Beach Community Release Center has been captured.

The Florida Department of Law Enforcement tells local media that 27-year-old Antwane Anglin was captured Thursday afternoon, less than 12 hours after officials say he fled while on work release.

Department of Corrections officials say was arrested at a Belle Glade motel. Anglin was serving time for several drug-related offenses.

Because Anglin had fewer than 20 months left on his sentence and had exhibited good behavior, Department of Corrections spokesman McKinley Lewis says Anglin wasn’t supervised on his commute to and from work release. Authorities say Anglin ran away after initially pulling into the prison late.

Authorities are still looking for 54-year-old Philip Peletz, who escaped from Palm Beach County’s Loxahatchee Road Prison on Tuesday.
